Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is hiring for a quality-focused technician in Georgia to perform routine material testing in an industrial manufacturing setting. The role includes compressive strength testing, pre/post pour inspections, and monitoring production operations to ensure product quality.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, proven QC experience, and ideally ACI/PCI certification or the ability to obtain ACI Concrete Field Testing certification within three

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Quality control experience in related industry.
• ACI/PCI Certification preferred, or ability to pass ACI Concrete Field Testing within 3 months.
• Basic computer and tablet skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically.
• Some travel required (less than 10%).

Responsibilities

• Perform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimens
• Perform daily pre/post pour inspections on products
• Monitor production operations as required
• Pipe patching and assisting pipe crew when necessary with strip, setup, and pouring of products
• Report to management team on process improvements, repetitive mistakes, and quality concerns
• Oversee a small team of individuals
• Responsible for receiving and filing raw material reports for documentation
• Contact for State DOT agencies, ACI, NPCA
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
