Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Georgia is seeking a Quality Control Lead to perform routine tests on raw materials, in-process components and finished products in an industrial setting.

The ideal candidate will have quality control experience, the ability to lead a small team, and the option to obtain ACI/PCI certification or pass ACI Field Testing within 3 months; limited travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Quality control experience in related industry required.
• ACI/PCI Certification preferred, or must pass ACI Concrete Field Testing within 3 months.
• Basic computer and tablet skills needed.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate with the team.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimens.
• Monitor production operations as required.
• Pipe patching and assisting pipe crew when necessary with strip, setup, and pouring of products.
• Report to management on process improvements, repetitive mistakes, and quality concerns.
• Oversee a small team of individuals.
• Receive and file raw material reports for documentation.
• Contact for State DOT agencies, ACI, NPCA.
• Other responsibilities as needed.
