Job summary

Hyve Solutions Corporation is seeking a Quality Control Lead to oversee and optimize QC across manufacturing and assembly operations, ensuring products meet established quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.

You will lead a team of quality control inspectors, implement CAPA, and collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain to drive continuous improvement while maintaining ISO 9001 compliance and rigorous data-driven reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in quality control with 2+ years in leadership in manufacturing/electronics.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
• Proficiency with Six Sigma, SPC, and root cause analysis.
• Experience with testing equipment and QA instrumentation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QC procedures for all production stages.
• Lead and mentor a team of quality control inspectors with training, guidance, and evaluations.
• Conduct inspections and audits of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement CAPA.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain to resolve quality issues.
• Manage calibration and maintenance of QC equipment.
• Prepare detailed quality reports and present findings to management.
• Ensure ISO 9001 and customer quality requirements compliance.
• Participate in supplier quality management activities, including audits.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) with quality plans and testing protocols.

Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality control procedures and standards for all production stages.
• Lead and mentor a team of quality control inspectors, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to identify defects and non-conformities.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve product quality and process efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage the calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment.
• Prepare detailed quality reports and present findings to management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and customer quality requirements.
• Participate in supplier quality management activities, including audits and performance reviews.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) by establishing quality plans and testing protocols.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality control, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably within a manufacturing or electronics assembly environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and their implementation.
• Proficiency in quality control tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis).
• Experience with testing equipment and instrumentation used in quality assurance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and high-quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
