Position Summary
The Quality Control Lab Technician is responsible for testing and measuring raw materials, finished goods, and in-process quality.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Receiving, labeling, and storing samples for testing.
- Performing tests needed for analysis and reporting.
- Recording tests and analyses, maintaining equipment records, and daily work logs.
- Maintaining lab supplies and equipment, including recalibration.
- Performing general housekeeping of the lab, including sweeping, mopping, cleaning, and trash disposal.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or High School Equivalence preferred.
- One to two years of experience in plastics manufacturing preferred.
- Computer skills, experience with Windows operating systems preferred.
- Proficiency in English communication, both spoken and written.

- Ability to work with fractions, decimals, millimeters, and inches.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues promptly.
- Skill in gathering and analyzing information.
- Logical reasoning to evaluate solutions and approaches.
- Excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods.
- Capability to operate in extreme heat or cool weather conditions.
- Flexible availability for shifts, overtime, and rotating schedules.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Following written and spoken instructions accurately.
