Qualifications

Job description

The Innovation and Development Division (IDD) drives the innovation strategy for the Hubs and Operations, contributing to the Group's transformation. It is responsible for imagining, developing, and incubating new solutions until they are brought to market, especially those with high technological content, including digital and IT. IDD comprises over 3,000 employees from 70 nationalities across 60 sites.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Responsible for performing Quality Control laboratory analysis testing in support of membrane development and manufacturing.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safe completion of all tasks and keep all related training up to date.
  • Perform high-volume, routine Quality Control lab analysis.
  • Communicate results promptly to support manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of data.
  • Conduct various lab tests (product performance tests, Karl Fischer, GC, UV, etc.).
  • Calibrate and perform preventive maintenance on lab equipment.
  • Work with laboratory personnel to maintain supplies and appropriate instrument maintenance.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts within the lab and company.
  • Handle hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals safely and dispose of spent materials properly.

Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in the chemical industry.
  • Mechanical aptitude, skilled in assembling tube/pipe fittings.
  • Proficient computer skills (scientific software, Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Good team player with strong communication skills, including presentations.
  • Demonstrates strong safety behavior.
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years experience with instrumentation and data interpretation in a production lab.
  • Initiative and self-motivation.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple requests under time pressure.
Working Conditions
  • This position is currently a second shift assignment.
  • Must be able to work off-shift, weekends, with possible call-ins and overtime.
Schedule / Salary

Job Grade: Hourly-7

Starting hourly rate: $21.75.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10:30 am - 7:00 pm.
