Job Description: Assists in the preparation of materials for testing and aids professional/certified individuals in performing various laboratory tests. Responsibilities include:

• Receipt and preparation of samples using automation, storage, and retrieval systems.
• Participating in continuing education.
• Handling specimens and supplies, recording information, and tracking samples.
• Proper disposal of samples after testing.
• Following safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting laboratory instrumentation.
• Monitoring inventory levels and notifying supervisors of needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
