Job summary

Peoplemark is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure products meet quality standards and customer specs. You will inspect, test, and document materials and finished goods, identify defects, and support continual improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, using calipers and other gauges, and communicating findings to production and engineering teams. This role may involve standing for long periods and lifting light loads in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in quality control, quality assurance, manufacturing, or inspection preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and rulers.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills and experience with quality documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using measuring tools and equipment.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
• Identify, report, and assist in the investigation of product defects and nonconformances.
• Verify that production processes comply with company procedures and customer requirements.
• Review specifications, drawings, and work instructions to ensure product conformity.
• Monitor production operations and recommend corrective actions when quality issues arise.
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate quality concerns and findings with production, engineering, and management teams.
