Job Store Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector I to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation. This role inspects materials and finished products, verifies specifications, documents results, and helps ensure products meet quality standards.

The position offers 3rd shift, Monday–Friday, 11pm–7:30am, with pay range $20–$23 per hour depending on shift, and opportunities to develop quality skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
  • Experience in quality control or manufacturing is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints and specifications to understand quality requirements.
  • Inspect in-process production to verify specifications.
  • Perform visual inspections and measurement tests with inspection tools.
  • Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
  • Identify products requiring rework and verify corrections.
  • Approve or reject raw materials based on quality requirements.
  • Prepare and submit quality reports to the Quality Manager.
  • Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Job description

Job Store Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Quality Control Inspector I to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for inspecting materials and finished products, verifying specifications, documenting inspection results, and helping ensure products meet established quality standards.

Pay/Hours: 3rd shift Monday – Friday 11pm – 730am $20 – 23/hour depending on shift

What You'll Do
  • I read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and specifications to understand quality requirements.
  • Inspect in-process production to verify products meet established specifications.
  • Perform visual inspections and measurement tests using appropriate inspection tools and equipment.
  • Communicate quality concerns and required adjustments to the appropriate production supervisor.
  • Inspect finished products and approve or reject products based on established quality standards.
  • Identify products requiring rework and verify that corrections have been completed properly.
  • Approve or reject raw materials based on quality requirements and document supplier performance.
  • Complete inspection reports, logs, and other required quality documentation accurately.
  • Enter inspection data into quality databases and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare and submit quality reports to the Quality Manager.
  • Assist with root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions related to process, product, and customer concerns.
  • Track and summarize rework and waste as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Previous quality control, inspection, manufacturing, or production experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
