Atwork is seeking a Quality Control Worker to support our manufacturing team in Texas. This role inspects materials and finished goods throughout production to ensure adherence to company quality standards and customer specifications.

You will read blueprints, perform precision measurements, and document inspection results while collaborating with production staff to prevent defects and ensure timely shipment.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect raw materials, components, and finished products for quality and accuracy.
  • Perform visual inspections and measurements to identify defects or inconsistencies.
  • Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
  • Compare products against blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Identify and document defective or non-conforming products.
  • Communicate quality issues to production supervisors and management.
  • Assist with investigating the cause of quality problems and identifying corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and documentation.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are consistently followed.
  • Work closely with production employees to prevent recurring quality issues.
  • Ensure products are properly labeled, inspected, and approved before shipment.
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized inspection/work area.

  • Ability to identify defects and communicate quality concerns effectively.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills for entering inspection results and maintaining records.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
