Job summary

You will inspect materials, report defects, verify conformance with drawings, and support continuous improvement initiatives. A high school diploma and attention to detail are required; familiarity with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and rulers is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in quality control/inspection preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and rulers.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills and experience with quality documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure quality.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using measuring tools and equipment.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Identify, report, and assist in the investigation of product defects and nonconformances.
• Verify production processes comply with procedures and customer requirements.
• Review specifications, drawings, and work instructions to ensure conformity.
• Monitor production operations and recommend corrective actions for quality issues.
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate quality concerns and findings with teams.
