Job summary
Shapco Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to oversee receiving, in-process, and final inspections, ensuring product and process quality. You will record dimensional data, identify non-conformances, and support continual quality improvements across manufacturing and shipping stages.
The role requires 3+ years in quality control, experience with ductile or steel pipe, and a keen eye for detail. This on-site position offers benefits after a short probation period and occasional overtime.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in quality control.
- Ductile and/or steel pipe experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s or Associate degree an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections to ensure conformance with work orders.
- Record measurements and maintain inspection reports with dimensional data.
- Identify non-conforming product and coordinate with Plant Manager for rework.
- Develop and enforce current quality control procedures.
- Verify orders conform to sales order requirements before shipment.
