Job summary

Texas Pipe & Supply is seeking a Quality Control Associate to perform daily inspections of inbound/outbound material and oversee measuring equipment care (calipers, micrometers, height gage, NPT gages).

You will interpret technical product specs, document results, and contribute to implementing quality control procedures. Candidates should have 6 months of experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with Word/Excel. Work hours are first shift; safety boots required.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience
• Experience with fittings flanges pipe preferred
• Must be able to do simple math
• Ability to interpret technical product specs
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer proficiency
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (SharePoint a plus)

Responsibilities

• Daily use and care of measuring equipment consisting of calipers, micrometers, tap measure, height gage and NPT threaded gages
• Daily inspection on inbound and outbound material
• Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
• Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
• Participate in routine visual inspections
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Ability to enter data into report
