Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking a quality control inspector to conduct detailed inspections of manufactured parts and ensure adherence to site specifications. The role involves using calipers, height gauges, CMM, and automated vision systems to evaluate parts and identify issues with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (or equivalent), basic computer skills, and up to 3 years of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; up to 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience operating precision measurement tools such as calipers, height gauges, CMM, or automated vision systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and technical inspections on manufactured parts to ensure adherence to quality procedures and specifications.
• Utilize specialized measurement equipment and run automated programs for accurate part evaluation.
• Identify quality issues, manage non-conforming materials, and elevate discrepancies to leadership promptly.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, IPC ESD guidelines, and proper hazardous material handling.
• Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance throughput and reduce costs.
