Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC in Madison, WI is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector for a medical device manufacturer. This on-site, first-shift role will perform incoming component inspections, document quality records, and partner with production teams to keep operations running smoothly.

You will use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to inspect materials, read engineering drawings, and maintain electronic quality records (eQMS) in line with GDP standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of inspection or quality experience, preferably in a medical device or manufacturing setting.
• Hands-on experience using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and inspection plans.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS).

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspections on raw materials and components against drawings and acceptance criteria.

• Identify nonconforming materials and assist with nonconformance disposition processes.
