Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable 3rd Shift Quality Control (QC) Inspector to perform inspection and quality services that ensure company products and processes meet internal, customer, and regulatory specifications. This role directly supports the Quality Control Manager, assists with team training, and contributes to company-wide quality initiatives. Candidates with experience in a manufacturing or plastics environment and familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and SQF 2000 are strongly .
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure full compliance with all quality, safety, and work regulations during every shift.
Inspect materials, components, assemblies, tools, and finished products using visual inspection, engineering drawings, blueprints, and applicable documentation.
Record quality data to verify product and process compliance with company and customer specifications.
Investigate and identify inspection problems and recommend corrective actions to the supervisor or Quality Manager.
Actively participate in the creation and/or revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Support production teams by assisting in identifying and resolving quality issues.
Communicate quality concerns clearly and professionally to leads, engineering, and other departments.
Maintain detailed and accurate inspection logs and reports.
Conduct audits of products and processes to ensure quality systems are being followed.
Help train team members on quality procedures, standards, and documentation.
Other duties as assigned by the Quality Control Manager.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent .
Minimum of 3 years of quality inspection experience, or a combination of relevant experience and education.
Familiarity with SQF 2000, HACCP, and GMP standards .
Experience in the plastic bottle industry or a similar manufacturing environment is highly desired.
Strong attention to detail with excellent record-keeping and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently on a night shift schedule.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed.
Work is performed in a manufacturing plant with exposure to noise and machinery.
