Responsibilities

• Manage the tool control system and coordinate with shop leads.
• Monitor calibration and recertification of gauges and instruments.
• Maintain parts tracking and monitor expiration dates.
• Inspect aircraft and components for FAA compliance.
• Conduct audits to evaluate maintenance quality and compliance.
• Review maintenance documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor safety procedures and report violations.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
• Stay current on FAA regulations and industry best practices.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in aviation maintenance or a related field.
• Experience with quality management systems, such as AS9100 or ISO 9001.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and on elevated platforms under varying conditions.
• Good manual dexterity, vision, and hearing for detailed inspections.
