Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector for an Aerospace role in Pompano Beach, FL. You will inspect aerospace parts, certify FAA compliance, issue FAA 8130-3 airworthiness certificates, and act as a Designated Quality Representative (DQR) for multiple manufacturers.

This on-site position offers a $70,000 annual salary, bonus potential, and full benefits. You will collaborate with suppliers, OEMs, and regulators to maintain airworthiness, support AS9100 compliance, review drawings

Qualifications

  • Experience in aviation quality assurance environments.
  • Direct experience with FAA regulations or military quality standards.
  • Ability to inspect and determine airworthiness of aerospace hardware.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • High level of computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and certify aerospace parts to ensure FAA compliance.
  • Issue FAA Form 8130-3 airworthiness certifications.
  • Serve as a Designated Quality Representative (DQR) for aerospace manufacturers.
  • Verify supplier-provided products meet quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain FAA regulations, OEM requirements, and quality management systems.
  • Manage the Quality Control Hold Area and disposition nonconforming material.
  • Investigate and resolve product quality issues.
  • Process customer returns and support corrective action activities.
  • Conduct internal quality audits and support AS9100 compliance initiatives.
  • Review documentation, specifications, and engineering drawings for accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain quality processes, procedures, work instructions, and training documentation.
  • Serve as a liaison with customers, suppliers, OEMs, and the FAA.
  • Support shipping operations through inspection and certification activities.
  • Ensure all quality documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
  • Promote continuous improvement within the Quality Management System.

Quality Assurance Inspector - Aerospace

Are you an experienced aviation quality professional with a strong understanding of FAA regulations, airworthiness requirements, and aerospace quality systems? We are seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring the quality, compliance, and airworthiness of aerospace components shipped to customers worldwide. In this role, you will work closely with suppliers, customers, OEMs, and regulatory agencies to maintain the highest quality standards while supporting a growing aerospace operation.

Key Responsibilities
Quality & Airworthiness Compliance
  • Inspect and certify aerospace parts to ensure compliance with FAA requirements.
  • Issue and process FAA Form 8130-3 airworthiness certifications.
  • Serve as a Designated Quality Representative (DQR) for various aerospace manufacturers.
