The State Highway Administration's (SHA) Office of Materials and Technology (Anne Arundel County) is recruiting for a Quality Control Engineer (Transportation Engineer III). This position is open to candidates meeting the minimum and selective qualifications listed below. The resulting list will be used to fill this vacancy only. This role involves engineering duties supporting project development and condition assessments, including data evaluation, site reconnaissance, report writing, and representing OMT in meetings. It manages quality control of geotechnical data, reviews work of consultants and contractors, and oversees data processing for plans and bids. The position also documents project progress, coordinates sample analyses, and liaises between divisions and external clients. Additionally, it supports fleet and equipment management.
One year of experience involving subsurface geotechnical data collection, analysis, or related fields.
Valid Maryland motor vehicle operator's license required.
