The State Highway Administration’s (SHA) Office of Traffic and Safety (OOTS) is recruiting for a Traffic Engineer (Transportation Engineer III) in Anne Arundel County. This position is open to anyone meeting the minimum and selective qualifications. The resulting list of candidates will be used to fill this vacancy or similar roles. You must reapply for future openings.
This position acts as an intermediate-level Transportation Engineer on the Traffic Engineering Research and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Team within the Traffic Development and Support Division. Responsibilities include:

Minimum Qualifications:
Selective Qualification: At least one (1) year of experience involving transportation research or traffic analysis related to highway planning and design.
