Job Description

This position performs engineering duties supporting project development and condition assessments, including data analysis, site reconnaissance, report writing, and managing geotechnical data quality control. Responsibilities include overseeing field data, reviewing work of consultants and contractors, managing geotechnical data processing, and providing technical support to field crews. The role also involves coordinating sample analysis, reviewing soil test requests, and supporting office and field operations.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience: Two (2) years in professional engineering; one (1) year must involve subsurface geotechnical work.
  • Preferred Skills: Strong communication, GIS/database analysis, geotechnical investigation experience, teamwork, and certification in NHI Subsurface Drilling Traffic Control/Forklift Training.
  • Licenses: Valid Maryland motor vehicle operator’s license.
