Rolls-Royce in Aiken, SC is seeking a Quality Control Engineer for a full-time role with a compressed four-day work week (ten-hour days, Monday through Thursday) and overtime as needed.

You will develop and implement quality objectives, respond to line calls with PDCA and 8D methods, and analyze root causes. A bachelor’s degree in Quality, Mechanical, or Industrial engineering with 3–7 years of experience is required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Mechanical, or Industrial engineering and 3 years of experience in quality or manufacturing engineering; or 7 years of experience in quality or manufacturing engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, coordinate, and implement quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost.
• Respond to line calls with immediate corrective action using PDCA, 5 Whys, 8D and A3 tools.
• Develop long-range corrective measures through root-cause analysis consistent with corporate objectives.
• Provide accurate and timely data to management regarding quality concerns.
• Design and implement control plan/inspection routings.
