Job summary

Rolls‑Royce is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer in Aiken, SC to support operations and drive manufacturing process improvements. You will help analyze designs, specify tooling, document processes, and develop statistically based control strategies to meet SQCD targets.

Work pattern is full-time with a compressed schedule (Mon-Thu). Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s in engineering or 4 years in design/assembly/manufacture of engines; U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or engineering technology, or 4 years of engineering experience in design, assembly or manufacture of internal combustion engines.
• U.S. citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily assistance and support to assembly processes
• Assist in analyzing product designs for the best fit method of manufacturing
• Specify tools, equipment and process to produce a part and assemble an engine
• Document and evaluate process while identifying improvements
• Assist in developing statistically based manufacturing control strategies
