Job summary

Actalent in Santa Fe Springs, CA is seeking a Contract to Hire Laboratory Technician to perform analytical testing using HPLC, HPTLC, ICP-MS, and Total Nitrogen methodologies, and to test raw materials, in‑process samples, and finished products.

You will document results, maintain LIMS, support inventory, ensure GMP compliance, and participate in cross‑functional teams to meet production timelines and quality goals.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing using HPLC, HPTLC, ICP-MS, and Total Nitrogen methodologies
• Conduct testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
• Review, document, and report laboratory results in accordance with quality procedures
• Utilize and maintain LIMS/database systems for sample tracking, testing workflows, and specifications
• Support laboratory inventory management, including monitoring reagents, chemicals, and consumables
• Assist with identification and disposal of expired chemicals and materials
• Ensure testing priorities are completed according to production and quality timelines
• Support first-time and on-time product release objectives
• Participate in cross-functional activities and cross-training initiatives
• Maintain compliance with GMP and documentation requirement
