Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Quality Control Laboratory Technician to perform tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. You will document results, troubleshoot deviations, calibrate equipment, and maintain safety and compliance in a fully onsite Gurnee, IL environment.

The role requires a science degree and experience with laboratory instruments, plus proficiency in MS Office and data management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related science required.
• Experience operating and maintaining laboratory equipment.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and database systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and conduct laboratory tests on raw materials, in‑process samples, and finished products.
• Collect, analyze, and document test results against quality standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot deviations or issues in testing results.
