Job summary

LAMP in Texas seeks an analytical laboratory technician to run analyses that determine product release. You will perform routine analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, intermediates and finished product.

The role covers operating several analytical instruments, maintaining calibration and contributing to method development under the Laboratory Manager. Strong documentation habits and lab experience are required.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology or a related science.
• Two or more years in an analytical or quality control laboratory.
• Hands on HPLC or GC experience.
• Careful, disciplined documentation habits.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analysis of raw materials, in process samples, intermediates and finished product.
• Operate and maintain HPLC, GC, spectrophotometers, titrators and other analytical instrumentation.
• Perform microbiological testing including plating, purity checks and contamination screening.
• Record results accurately, flag out of specification results promptly and support investigations.
• Maintain instrument calibration, reagent preparation and reference standard control.
• Keep the laboratory clean, safe and compliant with chemical handling requirements.
• Support method development and validation work directed by the Laboratory Manager.
