Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Quality Control Laboratory Technician for a contract position based in San Jose, CA. The role involves performing a wide range of chemical, physical, and instrumental tests on materials and products to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will follow analytical procedures, manage data in WinLIMS, and collaborate with Quality, Production, and R&D teams to drive accuracy, safety, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science/engineering field is required.
• Experience in quality control or laboratory work in materials testing is preferred.
• Hands-on chemical and physical testing experience with listed methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical, physical, and instrumental tests on samples to ensure quality.
• Follow SOPs and validate analytical methods for reliability and compliance.
• Log and review data in WinLIMS or similar LIMS systems with accuracy.
• Communicate results to QA, Production, and R&D teams promptly.
• Maintain laboratory documentation and proper labeling/accumulation of COAs.
