Job summary

Libra Solutions seeks a Quality Control Analyst to conduct independent QC reviews of company accounts, evaluating underwriting decisions, due diligence, and documentation for accuracy and policy adherence. You will document findings, identify errors, escalate issues to QC management, and help refine procedures, tools, and reviewer resources while maintaining compliant records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3+ years of underwriting, quality control, auditing, operations, or a related function within consumer funding, healthcare, legal, insurance, or a similar industry.
• Strong understanding of underwriting, due diligence, documentation, and operational processes.
• Knowledge of applicable privacy, documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies across multiple documents and systems.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to apply established standards consistently while exercising judgment on unusual circumstances.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting QC findings.
• Experience with case management, document management, or similar systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting/data-analysis tools.
• Prior experience performing quality control reviews or audits is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quality control audits of company accounts using established QC procedures, review criteria, and audit tools.
• Review underwriting decisions, due diligence, account documentation, case information, agreements, payment terms, and other data for accuracy and completeness.
• Clearly document audit results, findings, exceptions, and supporting information in designated QC tools and records.
• Apply QC standards consistently and exercise sound judgment when evaluating potential errors, discrepancies, or exceptions.
• Escalate significant, unusual, or unclear findings to QC management for review and determination.
• Support identification of recurring errors, trends, process gaps, and potential risk areas during QC reviews.
• Participate in discussions with QC management and business partners to clarify findings and promote policy compliance.
• Assist with development and refinement of QC procedures, checklists, and reviewer resources.
• Support validation or follow-up reviews when additional review is required.
• Maintain organized QC documentation per recordkeeping practices.
• Participate in system/process changes by providing QC perspective.
