Job summary

Anza Mortgage Insurance is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Analyst to support our post-close file reviews and ensure compliance with agency, investor, and Anza MI guidelines. The role focuses on validating data, underwriting decisions, and identifying defects before final determinations.

You will review loan documents, document clear rationales, and stay current with evolving GSE requirements while collaborating across teams to improve quality and accuracy in mortgage insurance

Qualifications

0–6 months experience in quality control, QA, processing, post closing, underwriting or compliance in mortgage insurance or financial services.
Excellent analytical skills.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance; effective communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Validate MI guidelines and GSE eligibility.
Confirm accuracy and completeness of loan data before final findings.
Review loan documentation for accuracy and compliance.
Document defensible rationales for findings and escalations.
Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
Pursue training to deepen underwriting and regulatory knowledge.
