Job summary

Value Windows & Doors is seeking a Quality Control Analyst to support the Quality Control Manager and department through testing, documentation management, reporting, and recordkeeping. Responsibilities

• Maintain quality-control records and reference documentation, including inspection standards, test requests, engineering change approvals, site survey reports, 8D/CAPA documentation, product specifications, drawings, and customer complaint history.
• Investigate nonconformities, support root-cause analysis, and track corrective/preventive actions through closure.
• Compile inspection, testing, production, defect, corrective-action, and customer-quality information into reports, summaries, scorecards, and management-review documentation.
• Use Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar AI tools to assist with reporting, documentation, translation, record organization, and administrative activities while reviewing all output for accuracy.
• Maintain quality records, specifications, drawings, 8D/CAPA documentation, calibration records, and AAMA/FGIA and NFRC documentation with appropriate traceability and version control.
• Pull and consolidate data from production and customer-service systems using Microsoft 365, including Excel, and translate technical materials between Chinese and English.
• Coordinate QC-R&D and monthly quality review meetings and follow up on action items.

About The Role

We are seeking a Quality Control Analyst to support the Quality Control Manager and Quality Department through testing support, documentation management, reporting, recordkeeping, and follow-up on quality-related activities. The role helps maintain product and process quality by ensuring inspection records, quality documentation, customer feedback, and compliance records are accurate, organized, and maintained in accordance with company standards and industry requirements. The position reports to the Quality Control Manager and works cross-functionally with Quality Control, R&D, Customer Service, and Manufacturing Operations.

What You’ll Do

Training & Education

• Associate Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience; 1-2 years of manufacturing or production experience.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, organizational, and multi-project management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Excel; ability to use Claude or similar AI tools for data analysis, reporting, template/document development, translation, drafting, and validation of AI-generated output.
• Fluent spoken and written Chinese and English with the ability to translate technical content accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate, traceable quality records.

Physical Requirements

• Window and door product knowledge; ability to read basic drawings; basic AAMA/NFRC knowledge.
• Experience with Salesforce, A+W Cantor, or ERP systems preferred.
• Training in quality management, document control, regulatory compliance, or Lean Manufacturing preferred.
