We areseeking a detail-oriented and organized Quality Control Administrator to support our Engineering team. This role combines data management, documentation, inspection coordination, and compliance oversight to ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-focused, and skilled at managing multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize quality control documentation, inspection records, and compliance files
- Collect, verify, and record inspection and test data from production floor personnel
- Support incoming, in-process, and final product inspections by coordinating inspection schedules and resource allocation
- Enter and manage quality data in QC databases and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) systems
- Prepare quality reports, charts, and documentation for management review and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate communication between Quality, Production, and Supplier teams on quality issues and corrective actions
- Track and maintain calibration schedules for inspection equipment and testing instruments
- Assist with root cause investigations and corrective action documentation
- Support audit preparation by organizing quality records and compliance documentation
- Monitor and track supplier quality performance and documentation
- Ensure adherence to ISO standards, company quality procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Assist with process improvements and quality metrics tracking
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support manufacturing and quality operations
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in quality control, manufacturing, data entry, or related administrative role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and quality standards
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with data entry and documentation
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment (noise, temperature variations)
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing or quality control experience in automotive, aerospace, medical device, or industrial sectors
- Experience with MES, ERP, or quality management software systems
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management standards
- Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) or quality metrics
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
- Basic understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Associate degree in Quality Control, Manufacturing, or related field
