Job summary

Clarios in Kernersville, NC is seeking a Quality Manager to lead QA for the North American manufacturing group. You will develop and drive quality systems, ensure ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 compliance, and act as plant representative during audits, solving process, material, and labor problems.

You will train staff, manage QA budgets, review quality metrics, and coordinate containment actions with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of quality leadership in a manufacturing environment.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification required; Black Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct quality assurance efforts for product operations and drive containment actions when quality concerns arise.
• Train staff personnel and apply analytical and statistical analyses to achieve required quality results.
• Represent the plant in front of customers and suppliers during escalations and audits.
• Manage QA systems, budgets, and the maintenance of quality records and costs.
• Drive ISO 9001/IATF 16949 compliance and continuous improvement across sites.
