Job summary

Clarios in Toledo, Ohio seeks a Quality Engineer to drive product and process quality across manufacturing operations. You will lead audits, implement SPC tools, analyze data, and execute corrective actions with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve performance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering, 1+ year QA/quality engineering experience, and knowledge of IATF 16949/ISO standards, SPC, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 1 year in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering in manufacturing.
• Experience with IATF 16949, ISO 9001 or other QMS.
• Strong SPC, root cause analysis and continuous improvement knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct analysis, inspections, testing, validation and integration activities to ensure product and process quality.
• Develop and implement SPC tools including control charts, sampling, Pareto analysis and other quality methods.
• Conduct internal plant audits for QMS, IATF 16949/ISO standards, and record retention practices.
• Issue and follow up corrective actions for root cause resolution and recurrence prevention.
• Coordinate engineering change activities and support new product introductions.
• Interface with customers and conduct on-site investigations to implement corrective actions.
