Job summary

Northern Virginia Community College seeks a Quality Compliance Associate to lead the Corrective Action Plan (CAP) program, monitor remediation, and advance quality assurance across the institution. This role collaborates with auditors, process owners, and stakeholders to strengthen internal controls and ensure robust documentation practices.

The position supports readiness for audits and ongoing compliance, with telework available after the state one-year probationary period.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of quality management principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of internal controls, corrective action planning, compliance monitoring, and risk management concepts.
• Knowledge of GDP, records management, and quality assurance methodologies.
• Ability to evaluate corrective action evidence and determine remediation effectiveness.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop meaningful reports and dashboards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build productive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer the College's Corrective Action Plan (CAP) Program, including monitoring, validation, reporting, and closure activities.
• Monitor corrective actions resulting from internal audits, compliance reviews, external oversight activities, and management assessments to ensure remediation is evidenced and sustained.
• Maintain quality documentation standards, perform compliance monitoring, develop management reports and dashboards, and assist stakeholders in understanding and meeting institutional compliance expectations.
• Serve as a liaison between auditors, process owners, and external stakeholders to facilitate corrective action implementation and promote continuous improvement.
• Collaborate across all business lines to support compliance with ICQA policies and procedures and established quality management practices.
• Maintain and enhance quality management processes, GDP documentation standards.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, metrics, and trend analyses to support decision-making and risk oversight.
• Identify recurring deficiencies and risks for process improvement and standardization.
• Promote awareness of ICQA requirements, CAP expectations, and quality standards.
• Provide guidance and training on CAP requirements and documentation expectations.
