Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor – Manufacturing to assist the QA Manager in implementing and assuring compliance within the QA department. The role supports inspection, reporting, NCRs/CAPAs, audits, and safety initiatives.

Responsibilities include reviewing incoming materials, preparing QA reports, training, and ensuring cGMP and SOP adherence. Overtime is required, with starting pay between $18.79 and $25.42 per hour, depending on role and location.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• May require ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• May require ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist Quality Manager in implementing and assuring QA compliance.
• Inspect incoming materials for conformance and release materials for production.
• Collect, organize, and prepare QA reports.
• Issue NCRs and CAPAs and follow up on corrective actions.
• Assist with internal and customer audits and recalls.
• Coordinate Pest Control and ensure calibration records are current.
• Support training and safety programs and ensure cGMP/SOP compliance.
• Communicate policies and procedures to employees and assist in development.
