Job summary

ABB Installation Products Division is seeking a Quality Leader to establish and maintain a quality culture in the plant, driving ISO 9001:2015 compliance and continuous improvement across products and processes.

Reporting to the Plant General Manager, you will lead the Quality organization, partner with Engineering, Operations and Finance, and oversee audits, CAPA, and customer satisfaction initiatives to exceed expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial preferred; master’s is a plus.
• 5+ years in Quality Engineering in high-volume manufacturing.
• At least 3 years of quality team leadership with coaching and performance management.
• Direct experience with ISO 9001:2015 certification desired.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt a plus.
• Strong collaboration with Engineering, Operations, and Finance leadership.
• ISO 9001 QMS Lead Auditor certification; NQA-1 Lead Auditor; IPC and ASQ certifications preferred.
• Legal work authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve a Quality organization to support strategic plant initiatives.
• Provide quality interface between operations and customers, manage the complaint system and CAPA.
• Lead development and improvement of Quality Management Systems for new products and processes.
• Lead internal Quality System Audit program and manage corrective actions.
• Analyze key quality metrics and drive action plans to close gaps.
