Job summary

Actus Nutrition, a Wisconsin-based manufacturer, seeks a Quality Manager to lead product safety, quality and regulatory compliance at the facility. You’ll develop and implement QA systems, oversee testing and labeling, and collaborate with sales and operations on quality improvements.

Ideal candidates have 5 years of QA management in manufacturing, experience with FDA compliance, HACCP and GMP, and a proven ability to coach staff and drive audits and cost controls.

Qualifications

• 5 years previous manufacturing QA Management experience.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and computer software applications.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Preferred experience in a food grade manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA program development and implementation at the facility.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, HACCP and GMP programs.
• Conduct internal, vendor and contract audits as required.
• Manage QA laboratory budget and cost controls.
• Oversee testing of ingredients and finished products; approve labeling.
