Job summary

Axiom Space is seeking a bold Quality Manager to build and lead a Quality COE, ensuring AS9100 certification and data-driven quality across programs. You will hire, coach, and develop quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians, and partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to drive proactive, prevention-based quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field and 8+ years of quality experience in aerospace/regulated manufacturing.
• 3+ years leading teams with strong ability to build and mature a quality function.
• Deep knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001, AS9102, CAPA, and audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision, operating model, and governance for the Quality COE.
• Develop a multi-year quality strategy and maturity roadmap.
• Standardize processes, templates, and playbooks across the organization.
• Lead and develop quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians.
• Own the QMS and ensure AS9100 certification and audits.
• Drive risk-based thinking, CAPA, and KPI dashboards for leadership.
