Job summary

Axiom Space is seeking a resilient Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team ensuring safe and reliable software for ground and space operations. You will develop QA plans, manage AS 9100 and CMMI compliance, and support nonconformance investigations with CARs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• 5-7+ years in Software Quality Assurance for human spaceflight.
• Experience with AS 9100 audits and assessments is desired.
• Knowledge of QMS and quality processes in the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop software quality assurance plans, processes and procedures for design, qualification, test, and acceptance.
• Maintain and ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) for AS 9100 and CMMI compliance.
• Support anomaly/nonconformance resolution and implement CARs.
• Conduct audits and deliver QA reports and MA-related tasks.
• Contribute to continuous improvements and program leadership briefings.
