Bosch Rexroth invites a cooperative student for a hands-on role in quality engineering in Fountain Inn, SC. You will collaborate with Design and Process Engineering to safeguard product quality and implement improvements across new and existing processes.

The role emphasizes PFMEA, Control Plans, Gaging, and root-cause investigations, with data analytics guiding decisions. This paid co-op runs January through May and requires on-site work.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field with strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI.
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, TPM) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Design Engineering during development of product design to safeguard quality of products.
• Work with Process Engineering utilizing PFMEA, Control Plans, Gaging and other tools to produce products that meet quality standards this includes development of new processes as well as improvement of existing processes.
• Implement and support multi-layered system to confirm Quality during all aspects of manufacturing.
• Lead investigations into customer complaints to identify source of complaint and work with internal stakeholders to identify root cause and develop corrective actions (8D, Shainin, 5WHY, etc.).
• Use data analytics tools to identify trends and potential areas of improvement
