Job summary

Bosch Rexroth is seeking a motivated engineering co-op in Fountain Inn to support product design quality and process improvements. You will collaborate with Design and Process Engineering to develop robust processes and ensure quality across manufacturing.

The role emphasizes data-driven problem solving with Excel and Power BI, Lean/TPM knowledge, and strong communication to work with stakeholders. On-site availability January through May is required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field (Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science).
• Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze data using Excel and Power BI.
• Knowledge of process improvement methods (e.g., Lean, TPM) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
• On-site work in Fountain Inn, USA.
• Available for co-op January–May.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Design Engineering during product design development to safeguard quality.
• Work with Process Engineering using PFMEA, Control Plans, and gaging to meet quality standards.
• Implement and support multi-layered systems to validate quality across manufacturing.
• Lead investigations into customer complaints and determine root causes with corrective actions.
• Utilize data analytics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
