Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Quality Automation Engineer to join the PC/Flex team. You will develop test automation code and work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional collaboration across Product Management, Customer Support and Platform engineering.

The role emphasizes automation, SDLC knowledge, and mentoring others, with a focus on reliability and security testing and scalable test solutions.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Science or Engineering from a recognized university/college.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in developing and supporting automation test frameworks.
• Knowledge of complete SDLC and software testing methodologies, tools, test planning and execution.
• Strong coding skills in Python and Playwright.
• Troubleshooting and analytical skills for root cause analysis.
• Ability to work with stakeholders across engineering teams for defect investigation and corrective actions.
• Experience with regression, scale, and performance testing.
• Experience in CI/CD environments (Git/GitLab, Jenkins).

Responsibilities

• Understand, participate, provide input for functional and design specs and other design documentation.
• Execute and automate long running, scale, reliability, and security test cases and report the results.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Customer Support and Platform engineering.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to new hires joining the team.
