Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in California is seeking a Systems/Software Engineer III to join our on-site quality engineering team. You will design and implement scalable automation for complex distributed software systems, working closely with development, architecture, and platform teams.

You will build robust test frameworks, apply data-driven quality insights, and help prevent defects from reaching customers while embedding quality early in the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of work experience in Test Engineering or equivalent.
• Production-depth experience with Python/Go/C++.
• Strong Linux/UNIX fundamentals and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain system-level test automation frameworks for complex software platforms.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous validation.
• Own test infrastructure, frameworks, and tooling across platforms beyond individual test cases.
• Analyze failures and work with developers to diagnose and prevent defects.
