National Beef Leathers in St. Joseph, Missouri, is hiring a Night Shift Quality Assurance Auditor in a full-time, on-site role. The position offers a 3½ day work week with a 4-week rotation, competitive wages, and comprehensive benefits.

The QA Auditor will monitor product quality, document daily samples, and ensure PPE compliance while supporting a safe workplace. The ideal candidate will have strong English literacy, basic math skills, and experience in manufacturing or quality assurance, with

Qualifications

• Must read and write English

• Two to five years in manufacturing or QA preferred
• Manual dexterity for equipment and computers
• Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 100 lb
• Willingness to work all shifts, including weekends/holidays

Responsibilities

• Input quality attributes and monitor product quality throughout production
• Communicate quality concerns with Production leadership
• Collect, evaluate, and document daily samples
• Promote a safe work environment and PPE compliance
• Provide departmental coverage as needed
• Cross-train in QA functions and maintain quality records
• Knowledge of Hide Brand Sortation
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Responsibilities

Quality Assurance Auditor responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Input quality attributes and monitor product quality throughout the production process
• Communicate quality concerns, trends, and issues with Production personnel and leadership
• Collect, evaluate, and document daily samples
• Promote and support a safe work environment, including compliance with all PPE requirements
• Provide departmental coverage as needed
• Participate in cross-training and become proficient in all Quality Assurance functions
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation
• Knowledgeable in Hide Brand Sortation
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management

This is a safety sensitive position. This is an on-site position.

Qualifications

Qualified Candidates for the Night Shift Quality Auditor position should have the following skills:

• Must be able to read and write in English
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery. This is normally acquired through two to five years of manufacturing experience in a tannery or a previous Quality Assurance position
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
• Availability to work all shifts, flexible hours, flexible days/evenings to include weekends and holidays

• Self-motivated and self-starter
