Job summary

National Beef Leathers of St. Joseph, Missouri, is seeking a qualified Night Shift Quality Assurance Auditor to join our team. The role involves monitoring product quality and ensuring compliance across the production process in a safety-minded environment.

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, good English skills, and experience with manufacturing quality systems. This is an on-site position with a 3½ day work week and competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must read and write in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two to five years in manufacturing or QA helpful.
• Able to operate machinery and computers.
• Willingness to work all shifts, including weekends/holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Input quality attributes and monitor product quality throughout production.
• Communicate quality concerns with Production and leadership.
• Collect, evaluate, and document daily samples.
• Promote a safe work environment and PPE compliance.
• Provide departmental coverage as needed.
• Cross-train in QA functions and maintain quality records.
• Knowledge of Hide Brand Sortation and related processes.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
