  • Assist Quality Assurance Manager and other admin support as needed.

Description


Position Objective:

This position is responsible for the implementing, monitoring, and enforcing of the company’s quality program and standards.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Building Inspections


  • Conducts spot inspections in all departments

  • Checks all station lead and supervisor sign-offs

  • Study each print and identifies all non-standard items and procedures; conduct a detailed inspection of all non-standard items and procedures

  • Schedule inspectors and provides all information needed such as approved prints, previous inspection sheets, Q.C. manuals, etc.

  • Approve inspection invoices for payment

  • Create, collect and file building travelers

  • Inspect ship loose, close-up and dealer packets

  • Inspect units prior to movement to storage areas for condition of tires, hitches, close-up and over all general condition

  • Re-inspect tires and close-up prior to transport staging


Ship Loose & Transportation


  • Ensure proper disbursement of the materials within one unit or between several units of same complex

  • Assemble customer packages (warranties, instruction booklets, keys, etc.)

  • Create all ship loose lists

  • Takes photos of ship loose and completed building and downloads to the digital files


Administrative Duties


  • Distribute quality control forms as required for ship loose and transportation

  • Prepare daily list of completed units

  • Ensure that quality control documentation is accessible

  • Monitor flow of quality control paperwork

  • Order and report insignias to the different state agencies

  • Secure proper installation and location of all state insignias

  • Takes photos of insignia and download to the digital files

  • Process packets for shipping

  • Distribute finished paperwork appropriately

  • Maintain and update yard log program

  • Assist in establishing quality standards, development of station checklists, and quality control forms


Miscellaneous


  • Assist Quality Assurance Manager and other admin support positions as needed

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:


  • High school diploma/GED

  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience including one (1) year of supervisory experience

  • Familiarity with OSHA safety requirements


Job Requirements:


  • Able to successfully pass a criminal background check (following a conditional offer of employment)

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods while coordinating transportation operations, use a computer with repetitive hand and wrist movements, maintain attention to schedules and logistics details, and occasionally lift or move materials up to 25 lbs. while working in a warehouse or yard environment with varying weather conditions
