Overview

Are you a detail-oriented leader with a strong background in safety, compliance, and continuous improvement? We are seeking a Quality & Safety Supervisor to oversee and drive the quality and safety performance across field contract locations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing compliance initiatives, developing training programs, supporting performance improvement efforts, and championing a culture of operational excellence. What You’ll Do


  • Serve as the primary liaison with contract management teams to resolve operational quality and material handling issues; ensure consistent communication and accountability for process adherence.

  • Oversee the development, tracking, and analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor contract performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Lead the implementation of quality and efficiency improvements using LEAN, Six Sigma, or other process optimization tools, with a focus on cost reduction and operational excellence.

  • Act as the subject matter expert for quality assurance and workplace safety standards, ensuring adherence to company protocols and regulatory requirements.

  • Design, implement, and lead training programs aligned with company objectives, including onboarding, safety compliance, and performance standards. Facilitate the Safety First Program.

  • Support new contract implementations and modifications by participating in onboarding, orientation, and mentoring of new Quality or Risk Managers.

  • Lead investigations and corrective action processes for quality or safety incidents, ensuring timely root cause analysis, documentation, and compliance with OSHA and applicable state regulations.


What We’re Looking For


  • Education & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Supply Chain, Safety, or a related field required.

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation environments; 7-10 years preferred.

    • At least 2 years of experience with OSHA and state-level safety regulations required.

    • Bilingual – English and Spanish (preferred)



  • Certifications

    • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification strongly preferred.

    • Additional quality or safety certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, ISO, CSP) are a plus.



  • Technical Skills

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant web-based applications.

    • Strong data analysis and reporting skills; ability to interpret complex quality metrics.

    • Solid understanding of warehouse safety regulations, OSHA standards, SOX (with quarterly reporting) and compliance requirements.

    • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, especially in high-pressure or time-sensitive environments.

    • Proven ability to develop and deliver large-scale training programs.

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

    • Demonstrated ability to drive cultural change and promote a proactive safety and quality mindset.
