Job summary

The Salvation Army in New York, NY seeks a qualified manager to lead the DDS network incident review and quality assurance efforts. You will attend trainings, chair committees, and devise audit procedures and uniform forms across the network.

Responsibilities include conducting audits of ICF/IRA and Family Care homes, ensuring compliance with TSA, NYS and NYC policies, filing incidents in WSIR, and maintaining an effective incident management program with on-call readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years in management, leadership, or HR management.
• 5+ years of proven staff supervision experience.
• Certified investigator.
• SCIP-R and First Aid/CPR certification.
• On-call 24 hours.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings/training as required by OPWDD.
• Chair and coordinate the Incident Review Committee.
• Develop QA program and audit procedure for the DDS network.
• Create uniform standards for forms and procedures across DDS network.
• Plan and implement routine training for all DDS staff in CPR, First Aid, SCIP-R.
• Conduct New Employee Training Class for new DDS staff.
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections of ICF, IRA, and Family Care homes for compliance with TSA, NYS and NYC policies.
• File all incidents into the WSIR System.
• Maintain an effective incident management program to reduce incidents and abuse.
• Ensure Incident Reports are filed as required by funder and The Salvation Army.
