Job summary

NOVO Health Services seeks a dedicated Quality Assurance Technician for our fast-paced healthcare laundry facility in Illinois. You will ensure quality during linen processing, label sterile products, and support continuous improvements.

Qualifications

  • High School Education or GED; degree/training preferred.
  • Analytical skills to determine number of carts for orders.
  • Ability to work in a noisy fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, and stack items.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and push/pull 100-pound carts.
  • Customer service and organization skills.
  • Preferred degree in Industrial Management or related discipline.
  • 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or service industry.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks per Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Separate, fold, and distribute clean linen.
  • Inspect linen to meet quality standards.
  • Label sterile product using heat-sealing machine.
  • Meet established productivity and quality standards.
  • Suggest improvements to facility management.
  • Mentor and train colleagues after mastering tasks.
  • Read and follow all SOPs.
  • Keep workstation neat and clean.

We are seeking dedicated Quality Assurance Technician to join our team in our fast‑paced healthcare laundry facility. We are looking for someone who is confident in decision making, can act quickly, and has excellent communication skills. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Perform tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Separate, fold, and properly distribute clean linen.
  • Inspect clean linen to ensure all quality standards have been met.
  • Pouch and label sterile product utilizing the heat‑sealing machine.
  • Work within established productivity and quality standards.
  • Make recommendations to facility management for methods of improvement.
  • Mentor and train fellow associates after mastery of tasks.
  • Ability to read and understand all Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Keep workstation neat and clean.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Required: High School Education, GED and formal education / training preferred.
  • Good analytical skills to be able to determine number of carts required for orders.
  • Ability to work in a noisy fast paced environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, and stack individual items from machine for long periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to push or pull a cart that may weigh 100 pounds.
  • Demonstrated customer service and organization skills.
  • Preferred Degree in Industrial Management, Engineering Operations Management or related disciplines preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or service industry
