Job summary

NOVO Health Services in Skokie, IL, is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Technician for our fast-paced healthcare linen facility. You will ensure clean linen meets quality standards, follow SOPs, and support efficient operations.

The role emphasizes quick decision making, attention to detail, and strong communication as you mentor teammates and suggest improvements. A high school diploma is required; healthcare/laundry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Education, GED and formal education / training preferred.
• Good analytical skills to determine number of carts required for orders.
• Ability to work in a noisy fast paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Demonstrated customer service and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Separate, fold, and properly distribute clean linen.
• Inspect clean linen to ensure quality standards are met.
• Pouch and label sterile product utilizing the heat‑sealing machine.
• Work within established productivity and quality standards.
• Make recommendations to facility management for methods of improvement.
• Mentor and train fellow associates after mastery of tasks.
• Ability to read and understand all Standard Operating Procedures.
• Keep workstation neat and clean.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are seeking dedicated Quality Assurance Technician to join our team in our fast-paced healthcare laundry facility. QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• High School Education, GED and formal education / training preferred.
• Good analytical skills to be able to determine number of carts required for orders.
• Ability to work in a noisy fast paced environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, and stack individual items from machine for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to push or pull a cart that may weigh 100 pounds.
• Demonstrated customer service and organization skills.

Preferred

• Degree in Industrial Management, Engineering Operations Management or related disciplines preferred.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or service industry
