Job summary

NOVO Health Services is hiring for a full-time manufacturing associate to support linen processing and distribution in our Atlanta-area facility. The role focuses on quality-driven tasks, following Standard Operating Procedures, and ensuring clean linen is properly separated, folded, labeled, and distributed.

Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 100 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment while delivering strong customer service and organization skills.

Qualifications

  • High School Education, GED and formal education / training preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or service industry.
  • Ability to work in a noisy fast paced environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, and stack individual items from machine for long periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to push or pull a cart that may weigh 100 pounds.
  • Demonstrated customer service and organization skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Separate, fold, and properly distribute clean linen.
  • Inspect clean linen to ensure all quality standards have been met.
  • Pouch and label sterile product utilizing the heat-sealing machine.
  • Work within established productivity and quality standards.
  • Make recommendations to facility management for methods of improvement.
  • Mentor and train fellow associates after mastery of tasks.
  • Ability to read and understand all Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Keep workstation neat and clean.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education

Degree in Industrial Management, Engineering Operations Management or related disciplines preferred

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Perform tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:
